Texas A&M University
M.S. Data Science (Dec 2027) — B.S. Computer Science, Honors (May 2027) — Minor in Statistics
I'm pursuing an accelerated BS/MS at Texas A&M, with a 4.0 GPA in both. My coursework spans machine learning, deep learning, data structures, software engineering, statistics, and systems: giving me a broad foundation across theory and practice.
My thesis focuses on predicting MCI-to-Alzheimer's conversion from 3D brain MRI scans, with the core research question being whether partial AUC can be optimized directly as a loss function. In the past, I have looked at using contrastive learning to reduce labeling costs for Alzheimer's as well. Outside research I'm involved in Engineering Honors programs E.D.G.E. and F.R.E.E., the Aggie Data Science Club, and intramural sports.
